As a graduate of Los Angeles Valley College (LAVC) in 2017, Yoosefi was exposed to a polarizing political sphere and saw the need for more social and organizational leadership. After LAVC, Yoosefi attended Harvard University where he graduated (2024) Cum Laude with his Bachelors in Business Administration and Management with certificates in Professional Communication and Organizational Behavior. While enrolled, Yoosefi, founded the HES Veteran Student Society (HESVSS) and established formal, University wide, recognition for Veteran students at graduation and was named the 2024 Society Leader of the Year. The knowledge imparted at Harvard was incredibly impactful in his business life, motivating him to higher aspirations to serve a greater purpose. In the aftermath of the Palisades fires, Yoosefi assembled a team and partnered with Team Rubicon to source donations and volunteers for clean-up and financial-aid for fire victims. His efforts were again recognized at Harvard in 2025 for his leadership and community service.

Throughout his life, Yoosefi has founded several successful companies across diverse industries. Holding a product patent and armed with a business degree, Yoosefi manages a sales force, team of engineers, and product developers providing goods to the state of California and working on cutting edge technology for government, commercial and personal applications. Through this diverse and skilled team of collaborators, Yoosefi’s desire to serve in an official capacity grew stronger. His business and service mindset ignited his passion to enhance the community and encourage engagement while preserving the charm that makes Burbank a unique staple in the San Fernando Valley. Yoosefi pursues challenges with a grounded, results-driven mindset. He possesses a keen ability to identify operational inefficiencies and improve systems. He approaches challenges with a focus on practical execution rather than maintaining the status quo. “Status quo lacks imaginative interpretation…” was part of Yoosefi’ response when he commented on the time deficit and struggles with current city planning and execution efforts. Yoosefi aims to connect people to services and opportunities to businesses while reducing the bureaucracy for completion.

Yoosefi previously served on the Valley Village Small Business Committee (2021-22), helping connect local businesses with residents and developing programs to support growth and visibility. After moving to the San Fernando Valley in 2006 and meeting his wife of 7 years they decided to plant roots in the city of Burbank. Yoosefi said, “We absolutely love the charm, clean streets and sense of community in Burbank. It’s a unique city unto itself.” Yoosefi is active in church functions. He volunteers as a business mentor to young entrepreneurs and established business owners, supports activities for young and donates his time when the mission calls. A productive member of the veteran community, Yoosefi is currently working on a project to repair the roof of the Burbank American Legion, Post 150, by collaborating with local large and small businesses. Further, Yoosefi is working alongside congressional members, healthcare professionals, and the veteran community on legislation to curb veteran suicide.

Burbank is not just an address for Yoosefi. While he has lived in apartments and recently purchased their first Burbank home, he actively engages in all Burbank has to offer. The quaint shops, local activities, hiking trails and thoroughly enjoys downtown. Burbank has always been a safe space to grow. Yoosefi has been blessed with so much that Burbank has to offer that his commitment to service has drawn him to give back even more. When free time arises, you can find Yoosefi working on his classic Mustang, enjoying Burbank’s hiking trails with his wife and cuddling with his dog, Mokie. Spending family time camping in the great outdoors, staying active in church, and planning for a brighter more prosperous future for Burbank remain at the core of his daily life.
